Bristorm launches High
Performance Fence
Bristorm has always offered high performance
anti-vehicle products, but with our latest
product we have set the bar as high as possible
in terms of the ultimate performance.
After a rigorous development process
with both the latest computer simulation
techniques combined with full scale testing we
have our highest performing product to date.
Bristorm Zero is our latest anti-vehicle fence
product tested to ASTM F2656-07 M50:P1, it
offers ZERO penetration and comes with a
whole host of advantages over other products.
From the outset Bristorm Zero was designed to
be flexible, cost effective and simple to install,
but still offer the high demands of M50 P1
performance. However Bristorm Zero goes
beyond this. It offers not just <1m penetration
but ZERO penetration and ZERO Major debris,
keeping the site and asset, protected to the
highest level.

new French
sports fencing
system
Perimeter fencing manufacturer Zaun
has launched a new sports fencing
system that is proving popular
in France.
The Sportif sports fence boasts a
mesh configuration that is commonly
found in sports MUGA and outdoor
sport applications in France.
The mesh pattern on Sportif is wider
at the top with 100mm x 200mm
apertures against 50mm x 200mm at
the bottom.
However each panel is customisable
with the lower mesh configuration
available to a height of your choosing,
dependent on the application. The
more open mesh at the top allows for
greater visibility for spectators, while
still ensuring ball retention.
Each Sportif panel is fixed to the
sports post using either full height
clamp bars or ZaunFix fixings and
is available in 6mm or 8mm dual
horizontal wires that sandwich single
vertical wires, providing a rigid and
strong fencing panel.
Olympic legacy leads to development
of grating fencing
Striking new fencing installed at Olympic
legacy venues has been launched by perimeter
fencing manufacturer Zaun.
The Grata grating fence solution has been
used at two sites on the Queen Elizabeth
Olympic Park – the ArcelorMittal Orbit and
the former hockey venue at Eton Manor, now
transformed into the Lee Valley Hockey and
Tennis Centre.
Zaun has designed a mesh grating system
that can be suitably adapted to a variety
of applications, from perimeter fencing to
cladding and handrails. Grating fences are
perfect for the modern environment and
provide sites with a more aesthetic and
contemporary appearance.
The grating fence system consists of a
combination of bearing bars and filler control
bars running in both directions that are pressed
and welded together in one process in a pressure
welder to give Grata systemmaximum strength.
All products are hot-dip galvanized and
available powder coated in any colour.
The system comes with optional sliding and
swing pedestrian and vehicle gates to fit the
environment in which the fence line is placed.
