– 15 – ISSUE 32  | NEWS Introducing ‘Wagonstoppers’ - the Council Height Restrictor by Frontier Pitts Creating traffic control systems for council estates and locations that require authorised access to various groups of stakeholders can always be problematic, but Frontier Pitts ability to design and program bespoke automatic perimeter solutions always delivers. When approached by the Council to produce a solution, Frontier Pitts ironed out all the detailed requirements from the different users and how they would all operate the system, access control solutions, the height restriction limit, to the installation, civil and electrical requirements. The safety of the system was also of paramount importance as the barrier would be used by the public. Therefore, clear signage and a traffic light control system were also included. A bespoke system of ergonomic design that blended into the location was installed which is now maintained by Frontier Pitts engineers. Frontier Pitts will be exhibiting at the International Security Expo at Olympia , London between the 28th and 29th September 2021 on Stand No B90 in the LPCB pavilion. Frontier Pitts will be showcasing a fully operational LPS1175 Automatic Bi-folding Gate SR2 on the stand.
