– 15 – ISSUE 29  | NEWS PRODUCT NEWS Perimeter Protection Group CleanSafe bollard - Innovation to protect the public Currently, a large part of the world is not only facing the challenge of protecting people against terror attacks with vehicles but also against pathogens (like corona virus) and/or a potential bioterrorism threat. With Perimeter Protection Group‘s longstanding know how the company have developed a product to fulfil these requirements. The result is its new CleanSafe bollard, a symbiosis of the company‘s fixed high security bollards and the possibility to protect yourself from pathogens. PPG‘s innovative CleanSafe Bollard includes a disinfectant dispenser which can be used by touch or contactless. This gives pedestrians the opportunity to disinfect hands when passing by. As an option, the bollard can also be equipped with LED lighting. Ordinarily, PPG‘s high security bollards are positioned at central traffic points in the city centre which gives the advantage of making them highly visible with hand height disinfectant dispenser and vandal proofing all at the same time. Citizens spending a relaxed day in town can use it directly after shopping or before visiting their favourite ice cream parlor! The CleanSafe bollard is also ideal for sensitive infrastructures like embassies, banks or places with large gatherings of people such as fairs and sports stadiums. PRODUCT NEWS PPG EntraQuick PU30 – ultimate security for vehicle access points Perimeter Protection Group has launched its innovative EntraQuick PU30, which the company say is the ideal solution for highly frequented access points with high security requirements. It offers fast operation and obstruction-free passage as well as high reliability and low maintenance requirements. The interception system with active locking is designed to effectively prevent the forceful entry of vehicles up to the size of a pickup truck (2.5t) at a speed of 48 km/h.
