UK engineering company TSP Projects bought by SYSTRA TSP Projects has been acquired by international mass transit, mobility and infrastructure company SYSTRA. The deal sees the award-winning UK multi-discipline design and engineering consultancy secure its future by joining a world leader in transport infrastructure. TSP Projects is now a wholly owned subsidiary of SYSTRA Ltd, doubling the French company’s presence in the UK, and will be known as TSP Projects, a SYSTRA company. The investment marks a major milestone for the French company, creating an 800 strong combined workforce in the UK and providing TSP Projects with a permanent owner aligned with its core activity. With an annual turnover of £35million, TSP Projects employs over 400 people across five offices in the UK: York, Manchester, Birmingham, Reading and Bristol. In the security industry, TSP Projects are experts in the supply of Hostile Vehicle Mitigation measures for both short and long term requirements with a lineage that dates back to 2004. Craig Scott, TSP Projects CEO said, “Our modular PAS 68 range are some of the highest performing measures in their class with our re-deployable range forming a major element of the UK’s strategic National Barrier Asset. Originally designed and tested whilst we were part of the Corus and then Tata Steel groups, we have continued to offer our products and expertise under British Steel as TSP Projects and look forward to continued success under our new owners as part of the SYSTRA group.” Craig added, “We are pleased to be part of a global engineering company which shares our focus on technical excellence and has pledged to support our continued growth. Frontier Pitts report that, many clients have been installing unrated Security Gates that have not been tested alongside LPS1175 security rated fence lines. By testing and upgrading certain elements on all models of our Automatic Security Gates, Frontier Pitts is now pleased to bring to the market the first complete LPS1175 Anti-Intruder Gate Range to the market, introducing another perimeter security layer to the security onion.
