We hope to see some of our members at the event and have negotiated a special rate for them. The organisers report that Security and Counter Terror Expo (SCTX) is the UK’s leading national security event for professionals tasked with protecting nations, infrastructure, business and people against terrorism. SCTX is committed to the UK’s CONTEST strategy and runs in close correspondence with the UK’s National Police Chiefs’ Council and Counter Terror Policing. SCTX brings together over 10,000 senior security professionals from the Civil Service, Police, Military, Government Departments, large private companies and the Emergency Services. We are looking forward to bringing all members together and are pleased to have so many con rmed attendees. The AGM gives us a great chance to recap the last year and look to the future of the association. Attending this year we have the full PSSA Council, past Chairmen and special guests from the industry. The AGM marks 10 years since the idea to form the PSSA rst took shape and so is a great opportunity for everyone to catch up, discuss our achievements and plan for what’s next. Following the AGM we will be celebrating these achievements with a dinner in the evening. A drinks reception, three course meal and entertainment will give plenty of chance for socialising and networking. We really hope to see all members attending with plenty of room available for colleagues and guests. Members can reserve their place by emailing admin@pssasecurity.org or by contacting the o ce on 020 8253 4509. The dinner fee is £35 (plus VAT) per person. Overnight accommodation is available for reservation. The AGM is scheduled to begin at 16:00. The PSSA drinks reception will start at 19:00. It should be a great evening!
