The last couple of months have own by and the Association is moving forwards very quickly on a number of fronts. Membership numbers are set to increase by around 33% by the end of the nancial year with recurring revenues up by a comparable percentage. In addition to membership increases we are hoping to be engaged on a number of projects in 2019 which should increase the Association revenues further. While a lot of energy is going into membership increase, the main drive behind the Association is still very much bene ts for its members and to that end we are already pushing our marketing focus towards the “why should you use PSSA members?” rather than the “why should you be a PSSA member?”. This will be the main message being presented at the upcoming exhibitions at which PSSA have stand space (ISE UK, Intersec Dubai, SCTX UK and S&P UK). The next High Security Industry Day has now been set for 31st January 2019 with another being planned for June 2019. The January day will have a number of very interesting presentations on a variety of topics including a fascinating insight into drone aerial threat assessment and the consulting work being carried out in that eld. Please note that places are limited for this event and I fully expect a full house so please book your places early. I am very much looking forward to the Association AGM on 6th December and the post event evening dinner. For those members that have not yet con rmed their attendance, it would be great if you could join us as we are hoping that this will be an event that will long be remembered and hopefully oft repeated! ¢ Paul Je rey From the Chairman Message to industry – “Use PSSA members”
