Chairman’s Message: Verification Scheme
Progress and Credibility
Boosted
The recent constitutional changes regarding
mandatory uptake of Verification by PSSA members
have really boosted the schemes progress.
The initial aim, to have a substantial part of our
industry included in the scheme is now well underway;
many members are now working hard toward
Verification with a strong pipeline of expected
announcements to come over the next few months.
This news has also boosted credibility with the
industry with a number of specifiers and consultants
now committed to choosing Verified over non-Verified
products and services wherever possible.
As Gary Heward of MFD International has stated; “our
industry has needed this for a long time, and as we can
now see the Verified list achieving a useable size we
look forward to being able to specify from it”.
The news has also created a stir internationally with
the steady stream of offshore Verification enquiries
on the rise, including requests to franchise or run the
scheme locally in several other countries.
Success is now in our hands. A big thanks to our
members for their efforts and urge achievement of
Verification as quickly as possible for the benefit of all.

The Annual General Meeting of the Perimeter Security
Suppliers Association will be held on Thursday 11th
December 2014 at the London Chamber of Commerce
and Industry (LCCI), 33 Queen Street, London EC4R 1AP.
