Members shall agree to uphold the objectives and good reputation of the PSSA and the security industry as a whole, acting ethically at all times whilst maintaining the required expertise and experience to do this.
Agreement to PSSA Code of Professional Practice & Ethics.
Agreement to support PSSA pathways to raise standards in the sector, as appropriate to the type of membership.
Agreement to abide by the Bye Laws and the Memorandum and Articles.
Members must have been trading for a minimum of 3 years or be able to demonstrate reasonable financial stability.*
Members must be able to provide references * from previous clients (if requested).
Members must have a current Health and Safety policy document in place, signed by a responsible director and be able to demonstrate* arrangements are in place to implement the policy.
Proof of insurances to cover all potential liabilities arising from company products, conduct, errors and emissions.
Members must have a current Environmental Policy in place, signed by a responsible director and be able to demonstrate* arrangements are in place to implement the policy.
Applications must fulfill the PSSA’s membership criteria.
Admission to the PSSA should be to the benefit of the Association and the wider security community.
Applicants should agree to promptly pay all Membership Subscriptions or other charges for services provided by the Association.
In the event of any dispute regarding membership rights and obligations the Council shall adjudicate or refer the matter for independent review.
